European Distinction for Evriviadeio Gymnasium Larnaca
Evriviadeio Gymnasium of Larnaca proudly secured first place in the 13–14 age category. The award-winning film brought together 31 students of different levels and abilities, showcasing both creativity and inclusivity. The project was directed by Home Economics teacher Petri Daniil, with the close collaboration of Philologist Loukia Angeli.
This achievement highlights not only the talent of the students but also the school’s dedication to fostering awareness of human rights and active citizenship across Europe.
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth (MOESY), in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to the Council of Europe (CoE), announced the Pan-European Competition on Children’s Rights entitled “My Rights, My Voice.” The competition invited children and young people aged 10 to 17 to produce short films aimed at promoting awareness and understanding of their rights.
